Explore the Sorrento country site and taste the typical local tastes as the mozzarella cheese, Limoncello (lemon digestive), neapolitan Pizza, Olive oil, local wine …. You would be picked up at 9.00am in your Hotel or at 8.00am at the port. We would drive the scenic road along the Coast and reach the end of the Sorrento Peninsola and the small villages Termini and Schiazzano. We would have the possibility to visit a Mozzarella cheese factory where they still produce by hand as in the past the typical mozzarella cheese from the area. They still have cows and produce the cheese every day with their own fresh high quality milk. You can see how the cheese is made, and not only Mozzarella, but also Caciottine, Provolone del Monaco D.O.P.and caciocavallo(all typical types of local cheese). You could also see lemon and olive groves everywhere and would have the possibility to taste the local Limoncello (lemon digestive made with local Lemons -Limoni di Sorrento) in a small factory where the produce it all year (not only Limoncello, but also Caffoncello , Finocchietto, Melon-liquer, Nocino etc...). For lunch we would reach close to a nice Restaurant in the village places in a 18th century palace, to make your own neapolitan Pizza and eat it with a good glass of local wine. Back to Hotel /ship in the afternoon.
